Brought the Trans Am out of AutoX retirement for our Women’s AutoX Fun Day event. It may not be anywhere near as nimble as the Miata, but damn does it look good in pictures.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Body roll looks fast (but it’s not).

Sometimes you drive a car just because it’s fun, not because it’s fast.

I still can’t tell whether the Firebird and Camaro use the same doors or not

The Firebird/TA doors always looked fatter to me for some reason, especially above the door handles, but at the same time I have to think they’d be the same due to shared parts bin shit. I know the interiors are different

There’s a women’s SCCA solo event here on June 8th that I desperately want my wife to do... It’s also our anniversary. She said something like “is that REALLY what you want to do on our anniversary?!” For some reason, “OF COURSE” was the wrong answer.

Wrong question, wrong questions get wrong answers.

Everything about the doors are the same, except for the exterior skins. So you can’t swap a Firebird door onto a Camaro without it looking funny. However , you can swap interior door panels, latches, window parts , etc.
